About

We'd rather show you
than tell you.

Draft Studio is a small UK web design studio. Two people, working directly with the businesses we design for.

Why we work this way

Between us we've spent years in agencies and in-house teams, watching good businesses spend weeks in meetings before seeing a single design.

We think that's backwards. A design conversation gets useful the moment there's something on screen to point at. So we changed the order: we prepare an initial concept first, and we show it at the first proper conversation.

That's only possible because our process is efficient — not because the work is any less considered. Every site is still designed around the business it's for.

It also makes good design more accessible. Smaller businesses get the quality they'd expect from a larger studio, without the overheads that usually come with it.

The founders

Two people, both hands-on.

You won't be handed to an account manager. The people you meet are the people doing the work.

How we work

A few things we hold to.

Bespoke, always

Your website should look like your business, not a theme.

Plain English

No jargon, no mystery, no invoices you didn't expect.

Direct contact

You speak to the people designing and building the site.

Built to last

Easy to update, easy to extend as the business grows.

No obligation

Start with a concept, not a contract.

Tell us about your business and we'll prepare an initial concept for your consultation. It's free, and there's no obligation to go any further.
