Hollow & Oak
An editorial site for a bespoke joinery workshop, built around photography of the work itself.
Studio concept — not a live client site

- Joinery & carpentry

- Yorkshire
- Scope
- Design, build, launch
The business
A three-person joinery workshop making staircases, kitchens and fitted furniture for private homes.
The challenge
The old site was a single page from 2016. Good work, badly represented. Enquiries were arriving with no sense of budget or scope.
The approach
We started with the enquiry, not the homepage. What does a client need to see before they feel confident asking for a quote? The answer was finished work, at scale, with enough detail to judge the craftsmanship.
The design
- Full-width project photography with a quiet serif headline set against it
- A materials and process page that answers the questions asked on every call
- An enquiry form that captures room, timescale and rough budget
The outcome
A concept was shown at the first consultation. The finished site went live three weeks later.
